sQuid - Multiple Parent Guidance

Unfortunately there is no current method for 2 different sQuid accounts to register the same child. Discussions have been had with sQuid with regards to how to get around this and their instructions are below:

Email from sQuid:

Currently, there is no way for both parents to have equal access.

For the parent who isn't the main account holder, you can set up your own account, but you won’t be able to view transactions or purchase trips and offers, this will have to be done by the main account holder, you will only be able to top-up the purses.

For the parent who is going to be the friends and family user:

You will need to register your own personal account with your email address to top up your child's account. Once you have done this, please follow the below guide.
To top up your child’s account:
  1. Skip the add a user page
  2. Select ‘Top up’ along the top
  3. Select ‘Friends & Family’
  4. Enter your child’s purse reference -
  5. Enter the top-up amount, add it to the basket and checkout

Please note the reference needs to be exactly as written otherwise we will be unable to allocate the funds to the account.

Please see the example below, the purse reference is highlighted in yellow.

Unfortunately as it stands the system is not currently designed in a way to allow for equal access, but this is the next best workaround as it still allows for the other parent to top-up the student's wallet without access to the main account.
